Happy Thanksgiving



One more Thanksgiving season is here. Thanksgiving is a time to remember all the blessings you have received and to be thankful. Thanksgiving should not be limited to a season of the year, but we should have a heart of gratitude every moment of our life. As Paul says to Thessalonians, we have to be Thankful in every situation of our life. As I look back, my heart is filled with joy and gratitude. His abundant mercy poured over me; His unconditional love amazes me every day. Being unworthy for His Mercy, He continues to forgive me and gives me new blessings every day. His blessings are countless that I have no words to thank Him. This year I thought, I will try to write down the blessings I am thankful for, although it is countless, I will try to name them one by one in alphabetical order.

                                      

A      Amazing Grace. I experience God's  amazing grace every moment of my life and I don't have enough words to thank Him for that. Because of this Grace I am still alive, I have hope and I have future.

 

B      Brothers: I have no biological brothers, but God gave me brother like relationships in my life, gave me loving and caring brother in laws for whom I am very thankful to God

 

C       Church: My church is my place to worship You my Lord, where I experience Your presence . It is a place that gives me enough nourishment for my spiritual growth. Thank you Lord for my Church Family.

 

D      Difficult times. Thank you Lord for all the difficult times I went through. I experienced your love, presence and guidance, I realized you will never leave me or forsake me. Those times helped me to come closer to you.

 

E       Each and every moment: Each and every moment in my life is God's gift. Thank you Lord for letting me breathe in and out, and live in this beautiful world created by You.

 

F       Friends: God You have blessed me with some great friends. Thank you for the blessing of friendship, their fellowship and their support in my life.

 

G      Gadgets: Thank You Lord for the technologies you have given us to make our life easier. Thankful for all the Gadgets I use in my daily life. Help me to use them wisely for the glory of Thy kingdom

 

H      Holy Bible: Thank You Lord for giving me the Holy Bible. Thank you for speaking to me every day through the Word of God.

 

I         Isaac: Thankful for my son Isaac. Thank you for his life, health and all the blessings you have given him.

 

J       Job: So thankful for my giving me the job that I love. Thank you for giving me the wisdom and knowledge to fulfill the responsibilities of my job.

 

K        Kochanna. I'm so thankful for my daughter Isabel (we call her Kochanna). Thankyou Lord for her health ,growth, her life and all the blessings

 

L        Leya: So much grateful for the life of my oldest daughter Leya. Every time I see her, I thank You for your mercy towards us.

 

M      Mother. My mom is my prayer warrior. Her prayers is the reason for what I am today. Thank you for her life and all the hardships she has gone through for bringing us up.

 

N       New House: This year we were so blessed to buy a new house... Thank you Lord!!

 

O       Opportunities: Thank You Jesus for the immense opportunities you have given me throughout my life. Thank you for helping me to take over new roles and responsibilities and nurturing my professional , personal and spiritual growth.

 

P       Pappa : I call my father Pappa. He is such a blessing to my life. Thank you for his life and all the hard works he have done to bring me up

 

Q      Quality of Life: No words to thank God for such a great quality of life you have given us. Not because of my merits, but because of Your mercy!

 

R      Rest: When I am tired I have a house and a bed to rest. Thank you lord for your amazing providence.

 

S      Sisters: God has blessed me with two sisters. Thank you lord for their life and all the blessings you gave me through them. Bless them and keep them Lord.

 

T        Tom: I am thankful for my husband Tom. Thank you Lord for letting us do our life together in Your presence.

 

U     Unconditional Love: Thank You Lord for Your unconditional love towards me, even though I don't deserve it at all. Thank you for keeping me closer to you always

 

V      Vacations: We had an amazing vacation this year. Thank you for letting us to spend time with our loved ones

 

W     Wisdom: Thank you for the heavenly wisdom He gives me when I'm confused in my paths. Thank You for giving me the knowledge to discern your words.

 

X      Xenas: The word 'xenas' means courageous woman. Thank you God for giving me enough courage when the life situations scared me. Thank you Lord for lifting me up with strength and courage when I felt like I'm falling

 

Y      Year: Thankful for one more year in my life. As you bless me to have more time in this world , help me Jesus to live according to Your will!!

 

Z       Zillian:  And I am Thankful for all other zillion things that God have blessed me with. For the love of my family and friends, for health and wellness, for safety and freedom, for a robust and fulfilling career, for community, for travel, for the ability to achieve my dreams and the counting goes on....

 

 Also thankful for you for  reading this . It was interesting for me to write it down the gratitude list alphabetically! You also try this and see how great our God is!!! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!!!

A letter to My First Born

💗💗Life  has always something new to teach us. Every day is a new lesson for us. This is the time of  celebration, a season to rejoice and  a proud moment in life. We are about to enter into a new chapter of    our lives. I can't believe my first born is graduating from high school. Your  12 years of hard work and  sleepless nights has  helped you  to graduate successfully from high school with good grades, top 3%   in the class of 2021. When Death Came Close Death, I saw you standing near, I felt your touch, cold and clear. You took me from the ones I knew, From those I loved, from all that’s true. You showed me things I couldn’t see, How much someone can mean to me. We often don’t appreciate Until it’s gone, it’s just too late.
