A letter to My First Born

πŸ’—πŸ’—Life  has always something new to teach us. Every day is a new lesson for us. This is the time of
celebration, a season to rejoice and  a proud moment in life. We are about to enter into a new chapter of  our lives. I can't believe my first born is graduating from high school. Your  12 years of hard work and sleepless nights has  helped you  to graduate successfully from high school with good grades, top 3% in the class of 2021. As I always say I am so proud of you, what you have achieved, and how you have  grown into a beautiful young lady both inside and out.  When I say I am proud of your victories, I am also humbled  to see God's grace upon us.  I don't have any words to express my gratitude to my lord and Savior. As we see, thousands of kids graduate from high school every year. From your  school  too, 900 plus students graduated this year. But for me it is not just a usual simple  thing. Because there  was a day when I was not sure if you will even be able to continue your studies; there was a time when  I asked God just to give you  back  healthy , nothing else matters to me. But God not only gave your  life back healthy , but also showered you  with all these blessings.  Hence I would say, what we enjoy today is a bonus, not because we prayed or we deserve it, but because of His abundant mercy and love towards us. When I write this , Psalms 116 is what coming to my mind.

“I love the Lord, for he heard my voice;    he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me,    I will call on him as long as I live. the cords of death entangled me,    the anguish of the grave came over me .I was overcome by distress and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the Lord Lord, save me!” (Psalms 116: 1-4).
As the psalm continues, we can see what the psalmist would do in return of God's favor
Psalms 116:12,13) "What shall I return to the for all his goodness to me? "I"I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all His people"
Now as you are ready to step into the real world, always be thankful and remember your vows to the
Lord. There would be no mom's "lectures or dad's strict rules to control you. You will be by yourself,
taking decisions and making your steps. Like I always say, I don't care what you will become
professionally or how much money you would make . I don't care if you would attain heights and live
in this world with flying colors. But only thing I want you to do is always live a life with God.  Whatever you do, if its a simple task or a job for your living, do it for the glory of God. Like Paul the apostle  says " So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31). Always trust in God. Share the love of our God with others, in your words and deeds. Never put anything above God, always seek His guidance in whatever decisions you make. Always remember , living a successful Christian life doesn't mean being happy  always. Living a happy life when you have money, health and problem less life is not a big deal.  Anyone can do that. But  when you face your challenges with a smile and overcome  your problems  with God  and being content and happy , that's where the real happiness is. When you overcome all the hurdles in your life patiently and calmly without complaints, and fulfill the purpose of God for your life, thats when you can say you are leading a successful Christian life. So my advice for you is Love  your god and trust Him always, doesn't matter what your circumstance is. As Apostle Paul says  in  Romans 8:38 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the  present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will  be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord".  I don't have any better  advices for you, nourish yourself with the Word of God, you will get answers for everything. Also " clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." (Colossians 3:12).  So my dear,, enjoy your blessings, serve our Lord ,always  be His witness and live your life  for the  glory of His Kingdom .

Love You!!!😘😘
